Your drawings stay on your machine

Clarity Markup reads and writes your files in place on your own computer. Construction drawings are your confidential documents, and the ones you open in Markup are never uploaded to us.

Getting in

One Clarity account covers every product, and it is protected by a second factor as well as a password. Products are opened from the account by a single-use ticket rather than by sharing a password between systems.

Backups

The systems that hold project records are backed up every night, each server is mirrored to a second one, and a restore is practised weekly so we know the backups work rather than assuming it.

If you stop paying

You keep full access for seven days. After that the product becomes read-only, so you can still open, print and export everything you have put in. Nothing is deleted because a subscription ended.

Reporting something

If you believe you have found a security problem in a Clarity product, please tell us before telling anyone else, and give us a reasonable chance to fix it.
